The six-year secondary school journey culminates this year as the Senior Six candidates prepare for their Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) examinations. This moment is particularly historic, marking the conclusion of the old A-Level curriculum. This cohort are the final students to complete this program before the full implementation of the government’s revamped abridged curriculum, a significant step in the evolution of Uganda’s education system.
At Rubongi Army Secondary School (RASS) in Tororo, expectations are high. The school administration and staff have ensured that all necessary preparations are in place to support these candidates as they bring this academic era to a successful close. As the candidates attend their final briefing today, November 7, 2025, the entire RASS community extends its best wishes for their success.
A Message from the Literature Department:

A Peer’s Message of Encouragement:
To: All RASS 2025 Candidates
From:Changara Edward, Fellow Candidate
To my fellow candidates in both Arts and Science combinations,
I wish to offer a token of encouragement. Your choice of subject combination was not a mistake, nor does it determine your destiny. It is crucial to understand that any path you choose in life can provide a powerful foundation for future success, provided you dedicate yourself to it with diligence and passion.
Your success Is not confined to your subject combination. True achievement in your career depends on your determination, seriousness, and personal drive. Pursuing an Arts combination is not a recipe for failure, just as a Science combination is not an automatic gateway to success. Your potential is defined by your effort and belief in your own abilities, as no one else can secure your success for you.
Hold your heads high and be proud of the hard work you have invested. Believe in yourselves.
SUCCESS! SUCCESS! SUCCESS!
Sincerely,
Changara Edward
